Timeoptimist and a hilarious weekend
So finally I've come to peace with my inability to get everything i want to do, done in no time. Actually i was very depressed with the fact that i tried to do many things but never got anything done like i was used to. For me as an all-rounder i had a hard time realizing that it's not possible
to do more things that take longer times than before.
The change now is that instead of working from 06-06:30 in the morning to 14:30 in the afternoon then going home. Help friends with their stuff, do things with my own stuff i work from 06-06:30 to 16:30 in the afternoon. Walking home, thats 45min of time, get my training gear. Walk to the training for about 15minutes. Train 60-120 minutes and then home again, take a shower and eat something. 16:30+00:45+00:10+00:15+:02:00+00:15+00:30+:00:30=20:55 and then i go to bed at 22:00. Try go to the garage or meet some friends on the remaining 65 minutes! Got the picture? It took a while for me to realize there wore almost no time left for anything else.
So now in the winter i will focus on training in the large and spend time with friends and possibly a girlfriend,if there is one, the rest of the time. When the spring comes and the Car season starts i will stop or almost stop training and focus on my car.
This will change quite a bit as soon as i get down to my ideal weight...or body shape and condition. I really looking forward to that.
Anyway, my last weekend was hilarious! A really nice person and i took a trip to Romme Alpin and did some slalom skiing. That was about the funniest thing i've done in a long time and the last time i did this was almost five years ago so it was about time. That was really one amazing day. I rent a pair of slalom ski because my own was just scrap. I've done allot of forrest skiing and that has taken its toll on my gear. The set i rented was of the new(for me) carving style and that would be interesting because that should really make a difference according to people. The single largest difference i felt was the glide. Even though it was almost five years since i stood on my set of skis i felt a really huge difference. The carving was also a new experience for me but it will take a while to master the new technique but i like the old one still...
One thing that was fortunate was that my company and i liked the same ski slopes, red and black, nice. We haven't even discussed it before so that was really fortunate. Now we are trying to gather some people for a skiing weekend in Sälen. Hopefully we will succeed. We are 5 so far. I really looking forward to that.
Thanks Annica for that day, it was awesome
Have a nice day
