3D Meetup Sweden 2018

So it is Monday again(and actually it became Wednesday before i got this out) , the day after 3DMeetup Sweden 2018 in Helsingborg, Sweden.

There are much to think about after all the lectures and workshops and it became 11 of them and some cancelled. Some were more informative and interesting than other.

It is always very nice to be with people with the same interest as yourself. I may not have emptied my wallet but got some of the things i wanted and a really fashionable t-shirt from Matterhackers(thanks Dave(@dgaylord), it fitted perfect. Can i buy more?).The next thing is to start changing the micro-swiss nozzles bought from reprapme.se and test the polycarbonate and carbonfiber filament bought from Creedo, really exciting! And of course start planning the next 3DMeetup sweden.

The lectures and workshops that gave me the most was dipping your toes into blender. A introduction to blender with a little workshop. Really nice. The Autodesk Fusion 360 lectures were really awesome and i may switch from Solidworks to Fusion 360, i will at least give it a try. There were also lectures about 32bit hardware and reprap firmware that was very informative and 3D verkstan talk much about their Olson ruby which is of course really interesting.

Now i have tested both the Micro-Swiss all metal hotend(one print) with the eSun Carbonfiber reinforced filament. The looks of the printed filament is astonishing and the rigidity of the part was nothing more than awesome. Carbon fiber reinforce filament will probably be a favorite for a long time. The next to test is the eSun polycarbonate, that should be interesting but i need to upgrade the power cables to the print bed as they are not sufficiently dimensions from the printer manufacturer(FlashForge)
